Active Professional OD/MD
$125/year

OCCRS University  Mentorship Program 
$1500/year

Those optometrists and ophthalmologists, duly licensed and registered by their state, territory or country of practice, who pay dues as established by the Executive Committee of the OCCRS. Membership entitles you to:

  • The opportunity to participate in an exclusive closed communications using private Facebook group or email with other OCCRS members around the world.
  • Four COPE CE credits per year via webinar.
  • A discounted registration rate for our Annual Symposium.
  • Access to the member library.

Academic or Research $125/year

Those individuals holding M.S., Ph.D. or other advanced, non-optometric academic degrees who are involved with the field of refractive technology from a research or educational standpoint, who pay dues as established by the Executive Committee of the OCCRS.

Corporate $125/year

For-profit corporate entities involved in development, marketing or sale of equipment and or technology involved in the field of interest of the OCCRS.

RESIDENTS/FELLOWS

Those recent residency graduates.  Maximum 1 year membership after which you must upgrade to the active membership.  This membership is complementary for the training year.  

This program is a mentoring program for ODs practicing in ophthalmological settings, or those interested in comanagment in the optometric setting.  Membership in OCCRS University includes :

  • Exclusive continuing education program developed for optometrists working in the comanagement or surgical setting.
  • The program was developed at the request of collaborative surgeons to enhance clinical activity within this setting.
  • Over one year, approximately 10 cr of CE specific.directed to comanaging ODs.
  • Periodic mentoring webinars for doctors to discuss cases, concerns or ideas with board members.  
  • The opportunity to participate in an exclusive list-serve with other OCCRS members around the world.
  • Subscription to our email newsletter that includes case reports and journal reviews
  • A discounted registration rate for our Annual Symposium
  • A membership certificate suitable for framing and display in your office to let your patients know that you are on the cutting edge of technology.


STUDENTS

Those students who are currently enrolled in courses leading to  a doctoral or advanced degree at any accredited school or college of optometry, medicine or osteopathy in the United States, Canada or other country.

Student membership may continue until the student has graduated, completed an internship when required by law and has been licensed to practice. Student membership shall not continue for more than six months after graduation or completion of the residency or fellowship program.
